Following the drama which started yesterday in which the Malaysia-based Nigerian socialite, Hushpuppi, slammed Nigerian rappers, Phyno and Ice Prince for allegedly wearing fake Patek wristwatches, Phyno has responded with much vehemence.
While calling out the rappers, Hushpuppi wrote: If you don’t want people to patronise pirated copy of your work, don’t patronise pirated copy of other’s work. #Hypocrites.” But in a stream of SnapChat posts, Phyno offered a heavily-worded response on Thursday and fans are describing it as completely brutal.
“We not on the same level. You live and die for Gucci, I will live and die for my people. The hunger is different here man,” he began while adding another post thus: “I’ve got cribs, live in my house, never posted it. Bought a house for my mum, never posted it. Got her a car on her birthday last two years, never posted it.”
In yet another post, Phyno went on: “I represent a full continent, nation, tribe, brands, streets, what do you represent? #Hushpuppi, Gucci? Learn life, man. I inspire, you live for the media.”
Among other posts he released on the matter, Phyno wrote: “Never, and I repeat, never let anyone ride your wave without your permission. IBU Onye ala? What do I look like to you? Don’t go there next time, cow” and “Matter of fact show your followers something else apart from been (sic) in store (sales man) and rented jet. You are not worth this topic but it’s whatever.”
Hushpuppy previously called out Davido on social media in an online beef situation that turned messy but they made up soon after posting how much each of them spent on acquisitions at the time.
